Who we are
Phoenix Art Museum League is the Phoenix Art Museum's first support organizaion.
Founded in April 1955 by a group of Phoenix women as the
"Administration Board of the Phoenix Fine Arts Association", it was renamed in 1958 as the
"Phoenix Art Museum League".
Since that time, the League has dedicated itself to raising funds for the Museum,
focused on the conservation and preservation of the Museum's art collection,
as well as continuing outreach actiivites.

Special Events
Women In Art
This popular program consists of a series of lectures and social events highlighting the
role of women in art. Included are lectures, luncheons and trips to galleries and private
collections.
The Women in Art Award is presented periodically to recognize an individual for
her outstanding contribution to the arts.
Celebrity Luncheon and Treasure Sale
This highly anticipated event features a well-known speaker and a lovely luncheon. League
members and friends also enjoy both a silent and live auction and an antiques booth.
Holiday Prelude
Prelude is a collaborative event held with Phoenix Youth Symphony and Phoenix Theater
Guild. The holiday event features a fashion show, boutiques, raffle and luncheon. Proceeds
are shared among the three groups.
Arts & Flowers® – “flowers interpreting art”
Floral designers and garden clubs celebrate Spring by creating exquisite fresh floral
arrangements inspired by and paired with works of art in the Museum’s collection. The
weekend of events includes an opening luncheon, demonstrations and workshops, offsite
garden tours, a Boutique and a raffle. More than 6000 Museum visitors annually are amazed
by the unique designs of over 50 floral “artists”. Click here for more about Arts & Flowers®
