Workshop: Flowers & Photography

Heather Dent, owner of La Vie En Rose floral design company, will present a workshop: "Flowers & Photography",
on Sunday, March 7, 2010 at 1:30 pm, as part of Arts & Flowers® 2010.

Heather Dent has been a practicing photographer here in the Valley for over 10 years. She has studied photography in Toronto and the UK and recently received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from Arizona State University. She is presently attending courses towards a Master’s in the field. Heather is currently working on a series of long exposure nighttime landscapes of the Southwest. Her photographic work has been chosen for local and national juried exhibitions and has been seen in several local magazines. In addition her interest in photography she has a particular interest in floral art and has worked on several projects incorporating flowers into photographic arts. Heather is also owner of the floral design company La Vie En Rose. This is her fourth year participating in the Arts and Flowers weekend as a floral designer.
